I've had an interesting and very rewarding real estate career over the last 32 years. My Windermere Resume spans 26 years and is now continuing with Windermere Professional Partners Gig Harbor. Having worked for Windermere Services Company and managing Windermere Valley in Spokane, WA – I’ve been given amazing opportunities to learn about real estate and working with Brokers, Buyers and Sellers. From 1998 to 2009 we grew Windermere Valley from 35 Brokers to over 120 - quickly becoming one of Spokane's top offices. If you have questions about a career in real estate I'd be happy to grab a coffee and visit with you.
After graduating from Gonzaga University in Spokane in 1992 I put my degree in Public Relations to work immediately and joined Windermere Services Company Inland Northwest. I quickly learned that I had a passion for real estate and helping brokers learn and embrace new technology that enabled them to raise their level of service to their clients. Coming out of the downturn starting in 2009, I spent 6 years working with 2 national commercial real estate technology firms and one national commercial real estate firm in franchise development. I've been able to travel across the US meeting residential and commercial brokers who have shared valuable insight about our industry.
If you would like information on Gig Harbor and South Puget Sound real estate I would be happy to advise you. If you are interested in learning more about Windermere Real Estate and a real estate career you've come to the right place. Whether you are new to the business or experienced and looking to make a move, I have over 18 years experience in real estate brokerage management. 6 years of experience with Windermere Services and 6 years experience with real estate technology and franchise sales.
Please let me know how I can help you with your real estate needs and questions!
I've always been an avid golfer, tennis player and fresh water fisherman. I grew up in Hamilton, MT and loved every minute of it...makes me miss the Bitterroot Valley when I think of it. I lived in Spokane, WA for 20 years and after moving to Gig Harbor I discovered mountain biking and saltwater fishing. If you have not had a chance to hook a wild salmon you are missing out and the mountain biking in South Puget Sound is spectacular! My wife of 25 years and I are extremely proud of our two children - a University of Washington Graduate and Senior at the University of Washington.

About Me
After spending 19 years with REI, most recently as a National Buyer and Senior Analyst, I made the bold decision to be a full-time Realtor in 2018. To this day, it continues to be one of the best life decisions I've made. With over 60+ closed transactions and countless stories to tell, I'm mostly proud of immersing myself in the active community here in Gig Harbor. Almost 100% of my business comes from previous clients and their referrals. I live by the Platinum Rule: "Do unto others as they would want to be done to them."
When not working in the office, I can be found on skis, camping with my family and friends, or just exploring everything the PNW has to offer. My wife and I also enjoy home improvement projects, utilizing her Masters in Landscape Architecture and keen eye. Born a military brat and raised on the East Coast, I have been a PNW resident for the last 18 years and consider it my home. I look forward to many more outdoor excursions and expanding my local community involvement here in Gig Harbor.
So, whether you have never owned a home or have been dealing with Real Estate all your life, I want to listen to you. Let's figure out together how best to serve your needs.
I look forward to chatting with you.

According to the National Association of REALTORS® 2023 Profile of Home Buyers & Sellers, 28 percent of the buyers heard about the home they bought from a real estate agent.*
Inviting agents to tour your home as soon as it comes on the market is a great way to make sure real estate agents are aware of the features and benefits of your property
It's just one more way in which I can leverage my connections with real estate professionals to sell your home quickly and for the best price.

Open Houses
Open Houses
One powerful way to create traffic and exposure for your home is by holding open houses. Fifty percent of buyers describe open houses as an important information source when looking for a home.*
The more people that see your home, the faster it will likely sell, and open houses help achieve that goal. They also allow me to answer any questions about the home or neighborhood while I’m face-to-face with potential buyers. Neighbors also love to attend open houses, which can lead to increased word of mouth and greater exposure.
Furthermore, open houses allow me to hear feedback directly from buyers and agents, which can be valuable in gauging interest and addressing concerns for future showings. All in all, open houses are an important tool in getting your home sold quickly and at the best price.

Pricing Your Property
Pricing Your Property
The market value of your home is what buyers are willing to pay in today’s market conditions. My job is to help you set the right price from the start, and to position your property so it stands out in the market.
Dangers of Pricing Above Market Value:
❱ True target buyers may not see your property because it’s listed out of their price range.
❱ Buyers in the higher price point may compare your home to other homes at that price and consider it a bad value.
❱ It may sit on the market longer and sell for less than asking price. MLS statistics show that the longer a home is on the market, the lower the sales price.
Here's how i will price and position your property for the highest return:
❱ Analyze current market conditions and sales prices of comparable properties.
❱ Discuss your goals and needs.
❱ Advise you about ways to make your property more attractive to buyers.
❱ Create a comprehensive marketing plan targeting the most likely buyers.
❱ Market your property to other agents, and get their feedback on its price and presentation.
❱ Keep you up-to-date on sales activity and market conditions.
Marketing
Flyers and Signage
Marketing
Flyers and Signage
Selling your property means the careful orchestration of advertising, marketing and public relations. My goal is to reach precisely the right target audience through key local and national contacts.
One way to achieve this goal is to pique interest with the full-color marketing materials I use to showcase your home. Whether I am presenting your information in a postcard mailing to the neighborhood or in an informative flyer, each piece will exude quality and professionalism.
Another way is to display a Windermere yard sign, which for over four decades has become synonymous with quality listings. 33% percent of buyers say yard signs are among the information sources they use during their home search.*
What better way to tell the story of your home?

Staged for Success
Staging for Success
A well presented home will draw more attention from serious buyers and can greatly decrease the amount of time the home is on the market.
❱ 81% of buyers’ agents say that staging makes it easier for buyers to visualize the property as their future home
❱ 20% of buyers’ agents say that staging a home increases the dollar value offered
❱ 27% of sellers’ agents say that staging a home decreases the amount of time a home spends on the market
❱ 50% of sellers’ agents do not stage, but agents recommend that sellers declutter their home before putting it on the market
